Welcome
to Santa Cruz Valley.com - A Visitors
Guide to the ARIZONA towns and cities
of Sahuarita, Green Valley, Amado, Tubac, Tumacacori, Rio Rico,
Nogales, Arivaca, Patagonia, Sonoita, and Elgin
This site will preview many of the towns and cities
in the Santa Cruz Valley, in Southern Arizona.
The Santa Cruz Valley is rich in history, culture,
wildlife, and one of the most beautiful places on earth. The
Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Alliance (no affiliation)
includes towns and cities as far north as Marana (their Santa
Cruz River overpass is beautiful), Catalina, and Tucson;
and east to Benson. These four places are very much connected to
the history of the Santa Cruz River Valley, though at this time
on this site we will feature only those places listed from San
Xavier del Bac Mission (just south of the Tucson city limits)
to Nogales; and also east to Elgin
and west to Arivaca. For information
on Tucson, you can visit DiscoverTucson.org,
though we will feature Tucson slideshows below.

Horseback Riding in Tubac, Arizona
SANTA CRUZ VALLEY, AZ
From Tucson, it is an easy and beautiful drive south
on I-19 to Green Valley,
and
then on down to visit the old mission at Tumacácori National
Historical Park. The frontage road from Tubac
to Tumacacori is an easy way
to get to Carmen and Tumacacori. On the other side of the Santa
Rita Mountains and San Cayetano Mountains, down Highway 82, is ARIZONA'S
WINE COUNTRY - Sonoita - Elgin, and Patagonia.
Traveling south on Highway 82, from Patagonia,
you will enter Nogales, Arizona's
Gateway to Mexico.
We will be adding information, photos, and videos
to this site as we ourselves explore the endless beauty and places
of interest in Southern Arizona's Santa Cruz Valley.
